Do I need to register to attend?

Yes, you will need to register and pay a registration fee in order to receive your link to access the virtual conference.

Is the conference also available in French?

In anticipation of a grant from Heritage Canada, we are pleased to provide you with simultaneous translation of the presentations on Saturday, December 4th. 

How do I log in on the day of the event?

Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event.

The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?

The events will remain open 24/7 for until January 30, 2022. You can attend whenever it is convenient for you during this time to view the on-demand sessions.

Where will the event be held?

This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate as long as you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet devices.

Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event?

Yes. Like any in-person event, we will have a tote bag for you! You can add documents available to you online and then email them to yourself or share with colleagues by simply entering their email.

Can I invite my colleagues, friends and family to attend the event?

Absolutely. We are counting on you to invite others and help us spread the word. You can simply share the link to the registration page, and they can register at their convenience. Each delegate will require their own unique link and code to have access to the conference events.

Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate in our conference. You only need to have access to the Internet.

I have not attended a virtual conference or event before. What should I do?

The CLF will host a series of “Know Before You Go” pre-conference webinars to help registrants become familiar with the virtual event platform. We want to help you make the most of your conference experience and we invite you to join us for one of these free online information sessions.

If you have never attended a virtual conference and would like some guidance on how it all works, or if you would just like a sneak peek at our virtual conference platform and its features, then plan to join us at one of our upcoming “Know-Before-You-Go” sessions.  These sessions will take place online using Zoom, and there is no charge to attend.  Seats for each session are limited; please register for your preferred date so we can save your seat.
