In the trenches. A provincial advocacy story

The British Columbia Lymphedema Association (BCLA) conducted a patient survey and established a committee to advocate for funding compression garments for all lymphedema patients. Their efforts led to the submission of a comprehensive application to the B. C. Ministry of Health, now under review. The BCLA continues to focus on early diagnosis and public awareness initiatives while exploring regional clinic proposals.
