The CLF is committed to giving a voice to all those affected by lymphedema. In December 2015, a letter went out to the new Trudeau government appealing for a commitment to review how lymphedema treatment is covered and to request equitable financial support be available to all lymphedema patients across Canada. You can do your part. Print a copy of the letter and share it with your own Member of Parliament to ensure discussions about appropriate funding also take place at local, municipal and provincial levels. There are more tips about advocacy in our section under Make a Difference.
